Addison Burden and McKenna Rogers each won individual titles as Solon finished runner-up at the Wilton Women’s Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Wilton High School.

Rogers won the tile at 105 and Burden won the 145-pound title as Solon finished with 141 points.

Mount Vernon won the team title with 196 points while Mid-Prairie was third with 139 followed by Clinton with 131.

West Branch got an individual title from Emmersen Thomas at 110 pounds and finished 11^th with 39 points.

Led by Burden and Rogers Solon had four top-three finishes.

Rogers (19-1) went 3-0 with a pair of pins on her way to the 105-pound title, pinning Lainey Shelangoski of Durant in the 2:13 in the championship match.

Burden (15-8) went 3-0 on her way to the 145-pound title with a major decision and a pin.

Kate Richards finished runner-up at 115 pounds and Olivia Bonnema was third at 135 pounds for the Spartans.

Audrey Howell finished fifth at 155, Kendall Jensen was fifth at 170 pounds and Adlie Miller was fifth at 235 for Solon.

Thomas (15-1) led west Branch with a title at 110-pounds going 4-0 with two pins on her way to the title.

Teagyn Hartz finished third at 170 pounds for West Branch while Lauren Keeler was fifth at 100 pounds.
