Clear Creek Amana got into the win column on Friday with a 63-58 win over Vinton-Shellsburg in a WAMAC Conference West Division matchup in Vinton.

The win snapped a four-game losing skid to start the season for Clear Creek Amana and improved the Clippers to 1-4 on the season and 1-0 in WAMAC West Division play while

Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 0-6 on the season.

Clear Creek Amana was led by a trio of sophomores on Friday.

Sophomore Andrew Rotzoll led Clear Creek Amana with 20 points, connecting on four 3-pointers while sophomore Cale Berry had 17 points.

Sophomore Brody Clubb had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds and freshman Ethan Vice had six points and nine rebounds for the Clippers.
