West Branch had a pair of wrestlers post top-three finishes at the West Liberty tournament on Monday.
Emmersen Thomas went 2-0 on her way to a first-place finish at 115 pounds while Teagyn Hartz posted a 2-1 record en route to a third-pace finish at 190 pounds.
Thomas posted a pair of first-period pins in her 2-0 effort at 115 pounds.
She pinned Alexis Wagner of Mount Pleasant in 1:38 and added a pin of Chloe Hundertmark of North Scott in 1:20.
Hartz had a pair of pins in her 2-1 effort at 190 pounds.
She pinned Amerie Alvarado of West Liberty in 5:45 and Sadie Brandon of Fort Madison in 1:36. The lone loss for Hartz came via pin to Grace Fort of WACO.
Lauren Keeler went 0-3 for West Branch at 100 pounds while Courtney Kessler went 1-2 for Regina at 130 pounds.
Kessler earned a win with a first-period pin of Harmony Hansel of North Scott in :41.
