Regina Freshman Naeve, West Branch Senior Finley Named to RVC South Division Volleyball First Team

On Wednesday evening Regina and West Branch each extended their seasons by winning their regional openers.
Thursday morning the Regals and Bears both began to collect postseason awards.
West Branch had four players and Regina had three players named to the River Valley Conference All-South Division team when the league released its postseason volleyball awards.
Senior Ava Finley headlined the RVC all-division picks for West Branch earning a spot on the nine-member South Division first team.
Finley leads West Branch with 645 assists and has 182 digs and 26 ace serves while helping the Bears to a 17-16 record.
Senior Iva Senio and sophomore Madelynn Falco were each named to the South Division second team while junior Kylie Pickett earned honorable mention South Division honors.
Senio has a team-high 268 kills for West Branch and ranks third on the team in digs with 273 and blocks with 22.
Falco was the libero selection on the South Division second team after leading the Bears with 383 digs and posting 26 ace serves.
The Regina all-division picks were highlighted by freshman standout Reese Naeve who was a first-team pick in the South Division.
Naeve ranks seventh in Class 2A and leads Regina with 430 kills on .352 hitting and ranks second on the team with 272 digs to go with 16 ace serves and 14 blocks.
Junior Sydney Wagner was named to the South Division second team while freshman Kiley Devery earned honorable mention honors.
Wagner has a team-high 844 assists to go with 46 kills, 203 digs and 21 ace serves while helping the Regals to a 17-16 record.
