Malia Taylor placed 13^th to help Liberty High to a fourth-place team finish at the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Divisional Meet on Thursday at the Dubuque Cross Country Course.

Taylor finished in a time of 19:55 to lead five Liberty High runners that placed in the top 30.

Mimi Marquardt was 18^th in 20:07, Hailey Noel was 26^th in 20:33 and Clara Welch was 27^th in 20:33.

Madelyn Johnson added a 30^th place finish in a time of 20:43.

Class 4A third-ranked Dubuque Senior won the team title with 25 points while No. 15 Cedar Rapids Prairie was second with 50 and No. 12 Cedar Falls was third with 65.

Liberty High placed fourth with 114 points.

Keirra Hess of Cedar Rapids Prairie won the individual title in a time of 18:39.
