Boys Cross Country Roundup: Runner-up Finish From Kabela Leads Solon at Anamosa Invitational

Brick Kabela finished runner-up and Mike Yeomans was seventh to lead Solon to a fourth-place team finish at the 47th Anamosa Invitational on Saturday at Anamosa High School.
Kabela finished second behind individual champion Clay Bohlmann of Tipton in a time of 17:16 to lead the Spartans.
Yeomans was seventh in 17:44 as Solon finished with 111 points.
Class 2A top-ranked Tipton won the team title with 66 points while 2A third-ranked Oelwein was second with 70 and 2A No. 17 Monticello was third with 89 points.
Class 3A No. 12 Solon got a 23rd place finish from Lawsin Sinwell in a time of 18:25 and Evan Burg was 27th in 18:32.
