City High fell to Linn-Mar 25-21, 25-17, 26-28, 25-23 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Conference divisional matchup on Tuesday in Marion.

The Little Hawks dropped to 4-7 on the season and 2-2 in MVC play while Linn-Mar improved to 8-7 and 3-1 in conference play.

Claire Ernst led City High with 15 kills while Emmy McComas added 11 kills and Ruby McDonough added eight kills.

Sidney Slay had 40 assists for City High.
