Softball Roundup: Fourth-ranked Regina Rolls Past Camanche in RVC Cross-divisional Contest

Class 2A fourth-ranked Regina scored seven runs in the first inning and rolled to a 15-3 four-inning win over Camanche on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest at Gus Witt Field in Camanche.
Regina improved to 9-6 on the season and 5-1 in RVC play with the win while Camanche dropped to 3-12 and 2-9 in conference games.
Emma Nibaur allowed three runs on five hits in two innings while earning the win while Jillian Panther tossed two innings of one-hit relief for Regina.
Nibaur led Regina at the plate going 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored.
Courtney Kessler had a double, drove in two runs and scored three times and Laci Chambliss had a hit, scored a run and drove in two runs.
Alli Clark had a triple, an RBI and scored two runs, Morgan Gahan had a double and scored twice and Gabby Sueppel had a hit, drove in a run and scored twice.
Dani Laughlin scored two runs and Avery Kies had a double, an RBI and scored two runs.
