3A No. 6 Davenport Assumption scored the final five runs in a 10-4 win over 4A third-ranked City High in a non-conference contest on Friday at Mercer Park in Iowa City.

City High dropped to 4-2 with the loss while Davenport Assumption improved to 3-1.

Gavin Koch went 3-for-3 with a run scored to lead City High while Joey Bouska, Carter Seaton and Alex Knudtson all had two hits.

Seaton doubled, scored a run and drove in a run, Bouska drove in a run and Knudtson tripled and scored a run.

Gable Mitchell had a double and drove in a run for City High while DJ Hodges had a hit and scored a run.
