It took a few extra minutes but Clear Creek Amana continued its unbeaten start to the season on Tuesday.

Madeline Shade scored a goal in overtime to lift Class 2A No. 13 Clear Creek Amana to a 1-0 win over Benton Community in a WAMAC West Division match in Van Horne.

Clear Creek Amana improved to 3-0 on the season with its second win in as many days while Benton Community dropped to 2-4 on the season.

After 80 scoreless minutes Shade scored the game-winner off an Eva Plathe assist to give the Clippers the win.
