Liberty High won 14 of 19 events and rolled to the team title in an impressive performance at its own Liberty Lightning Invitational on Monday in North Liberty.

Seven different Liberty High athletes claimed an individual title on Monday and the Lightning won six relay titles while racking up 247 team points at the four-team meet.

Tipton was runner-up with 151.5 points followed by City High with 125.5.

Ashley Keeney won a pair of individual titles for Liberty High winning the 400 in a time of 1:02.72 and adding a title in the 1,500 in 4:55.45.

Liberty High won three of the four field events including a sweep of the throwing events.

Darya Acas won the discus with a mark of 112-2 and Jolie Nordell won the shot put with a toss of 33-3 ½.

Jasmine Barney added a win in the long jump with a leap of 16-10 ¼.

Jenna Uden won the 100 in 13.85, Hannah Ramsey won the 200 in 27.84 and Asta Hildebrand won the 400 hurdles in 1:15.76 for the Lightning.

The Liberty High sprint medley relay team of Brityn Gryp, Brie Klein, Brynlee Slockett and Ramsey won in 1:57.27 and Ramsey teamed with Hildebrand, Hailey Noel and Malia Taylor to win the 4×400 in 4:32.07.

The 4×800 foursome of Taylor, Keeney, Noel and Cori Mac won in 10:10.48 and the Liberty High shuttle hurdle team of Klein, Elizabeth Jaeger, Hildebrand and Gryp won in 1:09.94.

Gryp, Slockett, Uden and Amira Coleman won the 4×100 in 52.31and Gryp, Slockett, Cassidy Hartman and Ramsey won the 4×200 in 1:52.22.

Lucy Corbin led City High with a title in the 3,000 in 11:57.62.
