Liberty High fell to Class 4A third-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy 79-46 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in North Liberty.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy improved to 18-2 with the win while Liberty High dropped to 9-11 with its third consecutive loss.

Da’Shon Fisher led Liberty High with 13 points while Christian Barney had seven points, four rebounds and two assists.

Trey Hughes, Graham Beckman and Gage Kampman all had six points for the Lightning and Owen Swartzendruber had four assists.
