City High and Solon climbed one spot each in the most recent boys cross country rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

In the Class 4A rankings City High moved up one spot to third following a team title at the Mississippi Valley Conference Super Meet last Thursday.

Liberty High dropped three spots to No. 14 in the 4A rankings while West High slipped one spot to No. 15.

Solon moved up one spot to fifth in the 3A rankings while Clear Creek Amana dropped three spots to No. 15.

Regina dropped one spot to No. 13 in the Class 1A rankings.

Top-ranked teams remained the same this week with Sioux City North (4A), Dallas Center-Grimes (3A), Danville/New London (2A) and Earlham (1A) retaining number one spots.
