West High and Clear Creek Amana each climbed three spots in the most recent boys cross country rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Clear Creek Amana jumped three spots to No. 12 in the Class 3A rankings while West High climbed three spots to No. 12 in Class 4A.

City High remained the highest ranked area team, moving up one spot to fourth in the 4A rankings.

The Little Hawks trail only top-ranked Sioux City North, West Des Moines Dowling and Dubuque Hempstead in the 4A rankings.

West High is No. 12 in 4A followed by Liberty High at No. 13.

Solon is seventh in the 3A rankings this week with Clear Creek Amana at No. 12.

Regina dropped one spot to ninth in the Class 1A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Dallas Center-Grimes (3A), Danville/New London (2A) and Earlham (1A).
