Liberty High senior Ashlyn Keeney finished runner-up and West High was fourth in the team standings on Thursday at the 17-team Rich Engle Classic in Cedar Falls.

Keeney was runner-up in a time of 19:15.9 finishing behind only Ankeny freshman Alli Macke who won the title in 19:08.2.

Class 4A No. 14 West High had a pair of runners finish in the top 15 and placed fourth in the team standings with 126 points.

Third-ranked Dubuque Hempstead won the team title with 50 points while No. 8 Ankeny was second with 70 and No. 17 Dubuque Senior was third with 117.

Liberty High finished sixth with 157 points and Clear Creek Amana was ninth with 208.

Cindy Wang led West High placing seventh in a time of 20:07.7 and teammate Gabby Moniza was 13^th in 20:37.7.

Annie Schwartz was 31^st for West High in a time of 21:39.8 and Sara Alaya was 32^nd in 21:40.

Cori Mac joined Keeney in the top 10 for Liberty High placing 10^th in 20:12.9 and Malia Taylor finished 40^th for the Lightning in 22:10.9.

Clear Creek Amana was led by Haidyn Barker who finished 17^th in 21:05.2 while freshmen Kira Barker and Sara Kinzenbaw were 41^st and 44^th respectively.
