Clear Creek Amana just keeps on winning.

The Clippers remained unbeaten in 2020, stretching their winning streak to nine with a 49-30 win over Vinton-Shellsburg on Friday in a WAMAC Conference West Division contest in Vinton.

Class 4A No. 13 Clear Creek Amana improved to 14-3 on the season and 13-3 in WAMAC play with the win and hasn’t lost since a setback to second-ranked Center Point-Urbana on December 20.

Karsyn Stratton had 20 points while Whitney Traetow and Calia Clubb each had eight for the Clippers.

Lucy Howes-Vonstein had 20 points for Vinton-Shellsburg which dropped to 9-7 and 8-7 in WAMAC play with the loss.
