City High and Solon remained in the most recent rankings released by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association on Monday.

Coming off a week that included a pair of losses and a win over previously top-ranked Pleasant Valley City High (21-7) dropped one spot to seventh in the Class 4A rankings.

Solon (18-7) has won nine of its last 10 games and remained sixth in the Class 3A rankings.

Top-ranked teams in this week’s rankings are Johnston (4A), Marion (3A), Roland-Story (2A) and Mason City Newman (1A).
