Karsyn Stratton eclipsed the 1,500-point mark for her career on Friday pouring in a game-high 20 points to lead Clear Creek Amana to a 68-27 win over Independence in a WAMAC West Division in Independence.
Whitney Traetow had 18 points and Meagan Harvey added 12 as Clear Creek Amana improved to 12-3 on the season and 11-3 in WAMAC play with its seventh straight win.
The all-time leading scorer in Clear Creek Amana history, Stratton pushed her career scoring total to 1,501 with her 20 points on Friday and needs just three rebounds to reach 500 for her career.
Sophie Wolf had 10 points to pace Independence which dropped to 3-13 with the loss.
