Baseball Roundup: City High Has Streak Stopped with Non-Conference Loss at Burlington

Burlington broke open a one-run game with a four-run fifth inning and snapped an eight-game City High winning streak with a 11-4 win over the Little Hawks on Tuesday in a non-conference contest in Burlington.
Class 4A sixth-ranked City High dropped to 19-6 on the season while Burlington improved to 16-5.
Egan Smith took the loss for City High allowing four runs on four hits while striking out two and walking three in three innings.
Ben Kueter, Gable Mitchell and Carter Seaton all had two hits for the Little Hawks.
Mitchell and Kueter each went 2-for-3 and scored a run while Seaton drove in a run for City High.
Cade Obermueller had a hit, scored a run and drove in a run while John Klosterman scored a run and Jacob Means had an RBI.
Joey Bouska had a hit for the Little Hawks.
