Softball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Wins Two at West Delaware Tournament

Clear Creek Amana pushed its winning streak to nine with a pair of wins at the West Delaware tournament on Friday.
Class 4A ninth-ranked Clear Creek Amana defeated Linn-Mar 7-2 and Monticello 6-2 on Friday while improving to 20-3 on the season.
Linn-Mar dropped to 11-7 while Monticello is now 8-9 on the year.
Ashley Webb earned the win against Linn-Mar allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five and walking one in a complete game.
Bailey Olerich led the Clippers going 4-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Emma Mathis went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs while Oliva Miller was 2-for-4 and scored twice.
Ellie Crow had two hits while Bliss Beck had a hit and drove in a run and Avery Allan had a hit and scored a run.
Jenna Zillyette picked up the win against Monticello allowing two runs, one earned, on four hits while striking out two in six innings.
Allan went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI and Miller homered for the Clippers.
Olerich went 3-for-3 with a run scored, Gabrielle Bedford was 1-for-3 with two RBI and Webb went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Reese Stockman had two hits including a double and scored a run.
