Alumni News is a way for readers to keep tabs on former area standouts as well as honoring those athletes that continue to excel at the next level.
Adam Bock
Solon graduate Adam Bock was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference defensive player of the week after helping South Dakota State to a 27-17 win at North Dakota State on Saturday.
A freshman linebacker for the Jackrabbits, Bock had a game-high 13 tackles including 2.5 for loss in the win over the Bison.
In six games this spring Bock ranks third on the team with 38 tackles, with 3.5 for loss and a sack.
Cam Miller
Solon graduate and North Dakota State freshman quarterback Cam Miller accounted for 187 yards of total offense and two touchdowns in a 27-17 loss to South Dakota State on Saturday.
Miller completed 9-of-16 passes for 149 yards and also rushed for 38 yards and two touchdowns.
Joe Hoff
Former City High state runner-up and current Creighton senior Joe Hoff improved his season singles record to 7-4 with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Tyson Cowger of Augustana last Saturday.
With the win Hoff has now won seven of his last eight singles matches dating back to February 14.
Hoff also owns a 6-5 mark while playing number one doubles for the Bluejays along with teammate Stratton Brown.
