West High won six events and Solon won five at the Hollingsworth Relays on Saturday afternoon at Trojan Field in Iowa City.

The Trojans got individual titles from Jason Lu and Alex McKane and won four of the seven relay titles at its own invitational.

Lu won the 110 hurdles in 15.29 and McKane won the 1,600 in a time of 4:33.99 to highlight a strong day for the Trojans.

Lu teamed with Clay Bopp, Christian Janis and Kalen Haworth to win the shuttle hurdle relay in 1:02.94 and the West High foursome of Nathan Gudenkauf, Fabian Brown, Trey King and Mason Applegate won the 4×100 in 44.41.

Brown, King, Applegate and Daquan Johnson won the 4×200 in 1:33.36 for West High and McKane, Caden Noeller, Asher Overholt and Isaac Taylor won the 4×800 in 8:14.57.

Colton Hoffman led Solon with a pair of individual titles, winning the 100 in 11.4 and the 200 in 23.56.

Ben DeValk won the 3,200 in 10:23.15 and the Solon sprint medley relay team of Trin Eidahl, Hoffman, Brayden Rickertsen and Blake Timmons won in 1:36.82.

The Spartan distance medley relay team of Danny Knezevich, Oaken Foster, Jeremy Bachus and Rhett Mesch won in 3:53.19.
