West Branch got third-place individual finishes from Cash Woody and Joe Hamman and placed eighth at the Lisbon Relays on Thursday with 42 points.

Anamosa won the team title at the 10-team meet with 161 points followed by host Lisbon with 154, Alburnett with 75.5 and North Cedar with 65.

Woody finished third in the high jump by clearing 5-10 while Hamman was third in the 800 in a time of 2:12.98 to lead West Branch.

Jake Swisher was fourth in the 3,200 and eighth in the 1,600 and Carver Boelk was sixth in the 200 for the Bears.
