Liberty High made a few switches to its lineup on Thursday but the results were largely the same as the Lightning continued its strong start to the season cruising to the team title at the Demon Relays at Case Field in Washington.

Distance ace Ashlyn Keeney won individual titles in the 400 and 800 and ran on a pair of winning relay teams as Liberty High racked up 160 points to finish 42 in front of runner-up Mount Pleasant.

Tipton was third with 92 points followed by Fairfield with 73 and Keokuk with 53.

Liberty High got individual titles from Cami Mac in the 1,500 and Cori Mac in the 3,000 and McKenzie Logan was runner-up in both as Liberty High had 10 top-two finishes.

Keeney won the 400 in a meet-record time of 1:01.16 and took the 800 in a time of 2:22.36.

Cami Mac won the 1,500 in 5:05.86 and younger sister Cori Mac won the 3,000 in 11:04.64.

Hannah Ramsey, Isabelle Woody, Hailey Noel and Keeney won the 4×400 relay in 4:19.57 and Malia Taylor, Keeney, Noel and Cami Mac won the 4×800 in 10:04.27.

Liberty High also posted runner-up finishes in both the 4×100 and 4×200 relays while Logan was second in the 1,500 in 5:37.79 and in the 3,000 in 11:42.47.
