Aurora Roghair and Scarlet Martin each turned in impressive performances Tuesday as West High rolled to a 136-35 win over Dubuque Wahlert in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet at the Coralville Recreation Center.

Roghair and Martin were each part of four event wins, claimed a pair of individual titles and posted the fastest time in the state in an event on Tuesday as West High won 11 events.

Martin won the 200 IM and posted the top time in the state while winning the 100 butterfly in a time of 54.86.

Roghair won the 200 freestyle and added a title in the 500 freestyle in a state-leading 4:59.06.

Martin was a part of West High’s winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams while Roghair swam on the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.

Ella Hochstetler won the 50 freestyle in a time of 24.93 while Olivia Taeger won the 100 freestyle in 54.97.

Jenny Geng added a title in the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.28 and Austyn Goodale won the diviing competition with a score of 211.65.

City High Downs Cedar Rapids Jefferson

City High won 11 events and rolled to a 115-60 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual in Cedar Rapids.

Three different Little Hawks won four events to pace City High.

Oliver Masterson, Carly Weigel and Rika Yahashiri all won a pair of individual events and were a part of two relay wins to lead the Little Hawks.

Masterson won the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke and was a part of the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams.

Weigel won the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly and was a member of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams while Yahashiri won the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke and was a part of the 400 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams.

Trinity Sadecky added a title in the 200 freestyle and Grace Campion won the 500 freestyle for City High.
