Liberty High Places Seventh at West High Invite

Liberty High finished seventh and West High was ninth at the West High Invitational on Monday at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside.
Pleasant Valley had three golfers in the top ten led by individual medalist Jack Roemer and rolled to the team title with a 314, 27 strokes better than runner-up Bettendorf.
Roemer fired a four under-par 68 to win the individual title by seven strokes over Ben Vaasen of Dubuque Wahlert.
Liberty High shot a 380 to place seventh while West High was ninth with a 398.
Andrew Tauchen fired an 89 to pace West High while Caleb Kirk shot a 97 and Brady Simcox carded a 101 for the Trojans.
AJ Meyer led Liberty High with a 90 while Tate Brunk and Shane Alberts each shot a 96 for the Lightning.
