Class 5A sixth-ranked West High outlasted Cedar Rapids Kennedy 47-39 on Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Cedar Rapids.

Audrey Koch had a double-double with a game-high 18 points, 13 rebounds and five steals as West High improved to 10-3 on the season and 6-1 in MVC play with its eighth straight win.

Matayia Tellis had  15  points, five rebounds and three steals and Anna Prouty added seven points and seven rebounds for the Trojans which outscored Kennedy 9-4 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Kaliyah Sain had 16 points for Cedar Rapids Kennedy as the Cougars dropped to 12-8 on the season.
