Solon Stays Put at No. 4 in Associated Press Boys Basketball Poll

Solon held its spot at fourth in the latest Class 3A boys basketball poll released on Monday by the Associated Press.
The Spartans have won 16 consecutive games to improve to 16-1 on the season and trail only top-ranked Ballard, Monticello and Dallas Center-Grimes in the 3A poll.
Liberty High (5-1) dropped to ninth in the Class 4A poll while West Branch (14-1) dropped into a tie for 10th with Aplington-Parkersburg in the Class 2A poll.
Top-ranked teams remained the same this week with Cedar Falls (4A), Ballard (3A), Boyden-Hull (2A) and North Linn (1A) holding on to top spots.
