Boys Basketball Roundup: Regina Rally Comes Up Short Against Cascade

Regina battled back from an early 11-point first quarter deficit but came up short against Cascade on Saturday falling to the Cougars 48-45 in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Iowa City.
The Regals dropped to 6-8 with the loss and 6-6 in RVC play while Cascade improved to 6-13 and 5-12 in conference contests.
Ashton Cook had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead Regina while Coltrae Kerschen had 12 points and three rebounds.
Jack Tierney had five points, five rebounds and two assists for the Regals and Alec Wick had a team-high six assists.
