Logan Wright won an individual title and Morgan Hartz added a runner-up finish to help West Branch to a sixth-place team finish at the John Byers Invitational at Midland High School in Wyoming.

Wright won the title at 220 pounds and Hartz was runner-up at 195 as West Branch racked up 96 points.

Wapello won the team title with 210 points followed by Monticello with 194 and Midland with 190. Regina was 10^th with 46 points.

Wright (16-6) pinned his way through the 220-pound bracket, posting three consecutives falls capped by a second-period pin of Brandon Whittle of Central Community in the title match.

Hartz (14-7) recorded the 100^th win of his career on Saturday while reaching the 195-pound title match where he dropped a 9-0 decision to Lane Stender of Maquoketa.

Cale Seydel added a fourth-place finish at 132 pounds and Dylan Olson placed fifth at 120 pounds and Jaxson Kaalberg was fifth at 170 for the Bears.

Regina got a runner-up finish from Paul Waikel at 170 pounds and a third-place finish from Carter Rios at 145.

Sean Nugent was fourth for the Regals at 160 pounds.
