Logan Wright and Morgan Hartz each posted top-three finishes to lead West Branch on Saturday at the Gary Curtis Invitational in Riverside.

Wright finished runner-up at 220 pounds and Hartz was third at 195 as West Branch placed 11^th in the team standings with 49 points.

South Tama won the team title at the 14-team meet with 173 points followed by Muscatine with 165.5 and Alburnett with 158.

Led by a runner-up finish from Aidan Udell at 170 pounds Regina finished 12^th with 37 points.

Wright (8-3) posted a pair of pins to reach the 220-pound title match where he dropped a 16-5 decision to Josh Wallington of Mid-Prairie.

Hartz went 2-1 on Saturday on his way to a third-place finish at 195 pounds and Dylan Olson placed sixth at 120 for West Branch.

Udell (10-1) went 2-1 on Saturday on his way to a runner-up finish at 170 pounds splitting a pair of matches with top-five opponents.

Udell advanced to the 170-pound championship match with a second-period pin of Class 2A fifth-ranked Payton Vest of South Tama where he fell to 3A No. 5 Timothy Nimely of Muscatine 13-4.

Sam Aitchison added a fourth-place finish for Regina at 152 pounds.
