The senior trio of Theo Kolie, Ashton Cook and Alec Wick combined to give Regina one of the most imposing and unstoppable offensive combinations in the state.
After helping Regina claim the ultimate team prize with a state title last Thursday that threesome collected some individual hardware on Tuesday.
Kolie, Cook and Wick were all named to the Class A first team offense on Tuesday when the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association released its postseason honors.
The trio joined junior lineman Aidan Udell and Josh Gaffey who were both named to the third team defense on the Class A team as the state champion Regals had five players earn all-state honors.
Wick was an all-state selection for the third consecutive season, earning first-team honors at receiver for the second year in a row.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound senior led Class A in receptions (75), receiving yards (1,401) and receiving touchdowns (16) while ranking third in the state in all classes in receiving yards.
Cook earned all-state honors for the second time after being named a third-team pick in Class 1A last season.
A four-year varsity contributor and three-year starter, Cook completed 67 percent of his passes while throwing for a career-high 2,862 yards and 25 touchdowns with just three interceptions.
Cook led Class A in completions (185), all-purpose yards (3,171) and passing yards and was second in touchdown passes.
The senior signal caller also rushed for 309 yard and six touchdowns.
Kolie earned all-state honors for the first time with a breakout season in which he led Class A and ranked third in the state with 35 rushing touchdowns.
The senior running back ran for 1,599 yards and also caught 28 passes for 458 yards and two touchdowns on his way to being selected to the Class A first team.
Gaffey and Udell were both named to the third-team defense after strong seasons in which they helped Regina win its seventh state title in the past 11 seasons.
Udell had a team-high 63.5 tackles from his defensive line spot including 56 solo stops and two sacks and was a third-team utility selection.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Gaffey was third-team selection as a defensive lineman after making 36.5 tackles including 32 solo stops and 1.5 tackles for loss.
