West High climbed one spot in the most recent Associated Press prep football poll released on Monday moving up to seventh in Class 4A.

One of only three remaining teams in Class 4A, West High (4-0) defeated Cedar Rapids Kennedy 48-21 in its regular season finale on Friday.

The Trojans join top-ranked Southeast Polk (6-0) and fourth-ranked Pleasant Valley (7-0) as the lone unbeatens in Class 4A entering the postseason.

Solon (5-2) jumped two spots to seventh in the Class 3A poll while Regina (6-1) remained third in the Class A poll.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Cedar Rapids Xavier (3A), Williamsburg (2A), OABCIG (1A), Grundy Center (A) and Don Bosco (8-player).
