Class 2A No. 13 Clear Creek Amana remained unbeaten on the season with a 5-0 win over Vinton-Shellsburg on Thursday at Clipper Field in Tiffin.

Liza Evans and Carsyn Gallagher each scored a pair of goals as Clear Creek Amana improved to 4-0 on the season with the WAMAC West Division win.

Evans opened the score with a goal from 30 yards out and Gallagher scored twice in the first half to put the Clippers up 3-0 at the half.

Evans scored on a rebound shot off her own shot on goal to make it 4-0 before Lauren Riggle capped the scoring with a goal of an Ellen Austin corner kick.

Clear Creek Amana returns to action next week when it travels to Class 1A third-ranked Center Point-Urbana on Tuesday.

Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 2-2 with the loss.

Solon Falls at Dyersville Beckman

Solon fell to Dyersville Beckman 6-0 in a WAMAC East Division matchup on Thursday in Dyersville.

Beckman improved to 3-2 on the season while Solon dropped to 1-3 with its third straight loss.
