Back on the course after a nearly month-long break three area cross county teams are back in the Class 4A cross country rankings.

The Liberty High girls and West High and City High boys teams returned to the Class 4A rankings this week when the Iowa Association of Track Coaches released its most recent rankings on Wednesday.

Liberty High is sixth in the latest 4A girls rankings while Solon and Regina each climbed one spot in their respective classes.

The Solon girls moved up one spot to fourth in the Class 3A rankings while Regina moved up to third in Class 1A.

Liberty High remained No. 10 in the Class 4A boys rankings for the second consecutive week while West High jumped back into the 4A rankings at No. 13 while City High is No. 14.

Solon and Clear Creek Amana each moved up one spot in Class 3A.

Solon climbed to fourth while Clear Creek Amana moved to No. 12 in the 3A rankings.

Liberty High junior Ashlyn Keeney is fourth in the Class 4A girls individual rankings this week while Regina senior Annalee Bartels is fifth in the Class 1A rankings.

Solon senior Kiersten Conway is 24^th and Clear Creek Amana sophomore Haidyn Barker is 30^th in the Class 3A rankings.

West High junior Alex McKane is No. 21 in the 4A boys rankings while City High sophomore Ford Washburn is No. 27.

Clear Creek Amana senior Brandon Barker is 11^th in the 3A boys rankings.
