Regina and West High each held their spots in the most recent Associated Press football poll released on Monday.

Regina (3-1) remained third in the Class A rankings and has won three straight following a season-opening loss to Class 4A fifth-ranked Pleasant Valley.
West High (2-0), which hasn’t played since defeating City High on September 4, held its spot at No. 7 in the Class 4A rankings.

The Trojans join top-ranked Southeast Polk, second-ranked Urbandale and Pleasant Valley as the lone remaining unbeaten teams in 4A.

Solon received votes in the Class 2A poll while West Branch received a vote in the 1A poll.

Other top-ranked teams this week are Cedar Rapids Xavier (3A), West Lyon (2A), OABCIG (1A), Grundy Center (A) and Audubon (8-player).
