West Branch jumped three spots to No. 11 in the latest Class 2A volleyball rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Winners of six straight, West Branch (6-2) hasn’t lost a match since opening the season with consecutive losses to ranked opponents at the Grundy Center tournament on August 25.

Liberty High (1-1) held its spot in the Class 5A rankings while Clear Creek Amana (8-3) dropped two spots to ninth in the Class 4A rankings.

Top-ranked teams in the rankings this week are West Des Moines Dowling (5A), Sergeant Bluff-Luton (4A), Mount Vernon (3A), Western Christian (2A) and Fort Madison Holy Trinity (1A).
