Class 5A third-ranked City High fell to Pleasant Valley 11-0 on Tuesday in non-conference matchup between top-10 teams in Bettendorf.

The win was the seventh straight for No. 10 Pleasant Valley which closed the regular season 15-6 while City High dropped to 17-4 with its second loss in as many days.

City High managed just one hit, a second-inning single by Sydney Fellows, against Pleasant Valley pitcher Sophia Lindquist who struck out one and didn’t walk a batter in a five-inning complete game.

Ayana Lindsey took the loss for City High allowing three runs, one earned, on four hits while striking out one in three innings.
