Softball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Splits With Dyersville Beckman

Clear Creek Amana split a WAMAC cross-divisional doubleheader with Dyersville Beckman on Friday in Oxford.
Class 4A No. 14 Clear Creek Amana won the opener 7-4 before Dyersville Beckman rallied for a 6-5 win in the nightcap with a four-run seventh inning.
Clear Creek Amana moved to 10-6 on the season while Dyersville Beckman improved to 6-13.
The Clippers won the opener 7-4 despite being outhit 8-4.
Raina Henze earned the win allowing four runs, two earned, on eight hits while striking out two and walking one.
Grace Bedord went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in two runs to lead the Clippers while Avery Allan doubled, drove in a run and scored twice.
Bailey Oelrich had a hit, walked twice and scored three runs and Ainsley Schrock drove in a run.
Clear Creek Amana led the nightcap 5-2 heading the seventh inning when the Blazers scored four runs to take the lead.
Schrock went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs for Clear Creek Amana while Gabrielle Bedford went 2-for-3 with a double and scored two runs.
Katelynn LeFleur, Grace Bedford, Reese Stockman and Cheyanne Bunch all added hits and Bunch drove in two runs.
