West High fell to Cedar Rapids Kennedy 49-24 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division dual meet on Thursday in Iowa City.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy improved to 4-0 in MVC Valley Division action while West High dropped to 2-2.

The Trojans got wins from Grant O’Dell, Parker McBride, Hunter Garvin, Graham Gambrall and Will Hoeft but it wasn’t enough to keep up with the Cougars.

Garvin and Hoeft each won via fall and Gambrall earned a win by tech fall for West High.
