Clear Creek Amana closed its WAMAC conference regular season slate with a bang on Thursday.

Class 4A No. 14 Clear Creek Amana downed Vinton-Shellsburg 25-16, 20-25, 25-14, 25-20 in a WAMAC West Division match in Vinton.

Clear Creek Amana improved to 19-10 on the season and finished 4-2 in WAMAC West Division play while Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 14-18 and 1-5 in West Division matches.

Calia Clubb had 13 kills and Shauntina Williams added 12 kills for the Clippers.

Hailey Pollock and Lauren Riggle each had six kills and Cheyaenne Bunch had 38 assists.

Jordan Neely had a team-high 14 digs and Riggle added 10 digs in the win.

Regina Sweeps Monticello

Regina stopped a two-match losing skid with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-11 sweep of Monticello on Thursday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional match on Thursday in Iowa City.

The Regals improved to 9-16 on the season while Monticello dropped to 11-19 with the loss.

Solon Gets Senior Night Sweep of Central DeWitt

It was a happy senior night for Solon.

Class 3A fourth-ranked Solon swept Central DeWitt 25-17, 25-14, 25-15 on Thursday in a WAMAC East Division match in Solon.

The Spartans improved to 16-12 on the season and 3-3 in WAMAC East Division play while Central DeWitt dropped to 10-18 and 1-5 in WAMAC East matches.

West Branch Sweeps Cascade

West Branch swept Cascade 25-15, 25-19, 25-23 in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional match in West Branch on Thursday.

West Branch improved to 16-10 on the season while Cascade dropped to 18-11.
