Aurora Roghair and freshman Scarlet Martin each won a pair of individual titles to help West High down City High in the annual cross-town swim showdown on Tuesday at the Coralville Recreation Center.

Roghair won the 100 and 200 freestyle and Martin won the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly to lift West High to a 119-67 win in the Mississippi Valley Conference dual.

Martin and Roghair helped West High win both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays as the Women of Troy won nine of 12 events.

Roghair won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:55.88, more than five seconds in front of teammate Lily Ernst who was runner-up in 2:01.61.

The sophomore added a title in the 100 freestyle in 54.07, edging City High junior Carly Weigel who was second in 55.18.

Martin won the 200 IM in 2:09.72 and claimed the 100 butterfly in 58.59.

Martin was one of three West High freshmen to earn an individual title on Tuesday as fellow freshman Olivia Taeger and Ella Hochstetler each won events.

Taeger won the 50 freestyle in 26.01 and Hochstetler won the 100 backstroke in 1:02.17.

Austyn Goodale won the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 227.45.

City High got a pair of individual titles from juniors Olivia Masterson and Trinity Sadecky.

Masterson won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.09 while Sadecky won the 500 freestyle in 5:26.71, edging Taeger by .02.

The City High foursome of Masterson, Sadecky, Rika Yahashiri and Weigel won the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:53.04.

Masterson was second in the 200 IM, Yahashiri was runner-up in the 50 freestyle and Sadecky was second in the 100 butterfly.

Peyton Sands was second in 1-meter diving with a score of 160.5 for City High.
