Emma Koch was the top player on the top team in the Mississippi Valley Conference this season.

Last week Koch received the league’s top honor.

Koch was named the MVC Mississippi Division player of the year after going unbeaten in singles and doubles play while helping West High to the divisional title.

Koch joined her younger sister and doubles partner, freshman Audrey Koch on the Mississippi Division first team while sophomore Jessica Moonjely was a second-team selection for the unbeaten Women of Troy.

West High coach Amie Villarini was honored as the Mississippi Division coach of the year.

Junior Vivian Mitchell and freshman Caroline Chandler were both honorable mention picks for West High.

City High had a pair of first team selections as a senior Bihotza James-Lejarcegui and sophomore Caroline Carter were both named to the Valley Division first team.

Sophomore Kelsey Law was a second-team pick for the Little Hawks and seniors Mary Liebig and Jameson Reineke both earned honorable mention accolades.
