Madi Barta scored off a Sydni Von Sprecken assist to lift Liberty High to a 1-0 win over Hudson.

The win snapped a four-match skid for Liberty High and improved the Lightning to 3-8 on the season.

Hudson dropped to 3-8 with its fourth straight loss.

Gallagher Lifts CCA Past Maquoketa

Carsyn Gallagher scored three goals and added two assists to lift Clear Creek Amana to a 6-0 win over Maquoketa in a WAMAC cross-divisional matchup in Maquoketa.

Eliza Evans, Carolina Herrera and Lauren Riggle added goals as the Clippers posted a season-high with six goals.

Riggle had two assists and Taylor Fuller added an assist as Clear Creek Amana improved to 5-8 on the season with its third win in its last four matches.

Maquoketa had a two-match winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 4-8 on the season.

Meurice Helps City High Win Shootout at Hempstead

Naomi Meurice converted a penalty kick and saved two to help City High defeat Dubuque Hempstead in a penalty kick shootout.

Sydney DePrenger scored the lone goal for City High off a Sam Schroder assist as the Little Hawks improved to 7-5 with their second straight win.

City High moved to 6-5 in Mississippi Valley Conference play while Dubuque Hempstead dropped to 7-5 on the season and 6-3 in MVC play.

Deanna Richardson, Ella Hennager and Madelyn Fontana all converted penalty kicks in the shootout to help City High earn the 2-1 win.
