Liberty High edged City High to finish runner-up at a quadrangular on Thursday at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City.

Cedar Rapids Xavier shot a 197 to win the team title followed by Liberty High with a 211.

City High was one shot back with a 212 and West High was fourth with a 216.

Kaylee Paulsen fired a 48 to lead City High while Alexa Fredericks shot a 52 for the Little Hawks.

Neely Maurus shot a 49, Grace Crimmins shot a 51 and Ella Johnson carded a 54 to pace Liberty High.

Claudia Chia led West High with a 48 while teammate Ellie Kouba shot a 52.

Elie Braksiek of Cedar Rapids Xavier shot a 46 to earn medalist honors.
