Another ranked opponent, another close call for City High.
City High dropped its third game of the season to a ranked team this season falling 64-62 at sixth-ranked Dubuque Senior on Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division matchup in Dubuque.
The Little Hawks dropped to 1-3 on the season and 1-2 in MVC play with the loss that came after a 75-48 setback to top-ranked West High on Tuesday.
Antonio Turner and Jeremie Kambomba each had 17 points to lead City High and Carter Westlake added 12 for the Little Hawks.
Sam Link had 17 points, Carter Stevens had 15 and Nick Timmerman 11 to lead Dubuque Senior as the Rams improved to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in MVC action.

Clippers Fall to South Tama
South Tama built a 14-point halftime lead and used a 28-point fourth quarter to thwart any chance for a Clear Creek Amana comeback in a 70-52 win over the Clippers in a WAMAC West matchup in Tiffin.
Clear Creek Amana dropped to 1-5 on the season and 1-3 in WAMAC West Division play with the loss while South Tama improved to 5-2 and 4-0 in West Division games with its fourth straight win.
Darius Moore led Clear Creek Amana with 18 points and Quentin Gisleson added 10 for the Clippers.
Nolan Schwarting added nine and Tyler Schrepfer had eight points for CCA.
