City High fell to Cedar Rapids Prairie 25-22, 25-17, 25-15 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division match on Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.

Ellie Evans led City High with 10 kills while Kelsey Law had seven kills.

Lindsey Bolton had 32 assists and Kate Swenning had a team-high 19 digs while Law added 11 digs.

City High dropped to 2-3 on the season while Cedar Rapids Prairie improved to 1-4 with the win.

Olivia Slattery had 12 kills and LeeAnn Potter added eight to lead Liberty High to a sweep of Clear Creek Amana on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup in North Liberty.

Liberty High improved to 2-4 on the season with the 25-19, 25-10, 26-24 win while Clear Creek Amana dropped to 3-5 with the loss.

Addie Schmierer had a team-high 16 digs and Piper Koski had 13 while Kaylee Berns led the Lightning with five ace serves.

Shauntina Williams had four kills to lead Clear Creek Amanaw while Hailey Pollock and Karsyn Stratton each had three kills.

Zoe Boehme had nine assists and Cheyanne Bunch had six assists while Jordan Neely led the Clippers with 17 digs.
