West High’s Steigleder Named to NSCAA All-America Team

It’s been nearly a month since Regan Steigleder played the final match of her storied high school soccer career.
The West High standout is still raking in awards for one of the best individual seasons in program history.
Steigleder earned all-american honors on Thursday when the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced its 2016-2017 high school all-american teams.
The senior midfielder was one of 32 players from across the country named to the all-american team that featured players from 18 different stats.
Steigleder was the only player from Iowa selected to the 32-member team after scoring a Class 3A-leading 37 goals and adding 11 assists while helping West High to a 19-2 record and spot in the state semifinals.
A Northwestern recruit, Steigleder finished her career with 92 goals and 28 assists.
