Regina had a five-game winning streak snapped with a 7-4 loss to Davenport West in a non-conference contest in Davenport.

Class 2A ninth-ranked Regina dropped to 19-7 with its third loss to 4A competition while Davenport West improved to 15-9.

Mitch Gahan took the loss for Regina, allowing seven runs, three earned, on 11 hits while striking out three and walking two.

Blake Berns went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Regina while Ryan Schott went 2-for-3 with a run.

Jayden Kies and Nick Brandt each had a hit and scored a run for Regina.
