Regina will get another shot at the Knights in the state quarterfinals as the two teams meet in a rematch of the 2016 title game on Thursday at Noon at Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines.
Emma Welter and Nourah Abusade scored goals on Monday as Regina secured a sixth straight trip to state.
Welter put Regina up 1-0 with a goal in the 23rd minute and Abusade gave the Regals a cushion with a goal in the 45th minute.
Megan Wick recorded her fifth shutout of the season in goal and second in as many matches.
Central DeWitt closed the season 13-5.
City High Comes Up Short In Des Moines
City High pushed second-ranked West Des Moines Valley to the limit but came up short of an upset falling 1-0 in the Class 3A, Region 3 title match in West Des Moines.
Sydney Fisher scored the only goal of the game as West Des Moines Valley (14-3) returned to the state tournament for the fourth straight season with its ninth straight win.
City High finished the season 12-6 with its third consecutive loss in a regional final.
